   I still don’t see how the cut we saw the other day could be “combed” to this style. It isn’t layered or undercut so how did she get the curve?

   Then skip most of April. The story line starts around the 5th and ends around the 24th but that was 1995 and it will be off a couple of days in 2024.

   I used to give my son his buzz cuts many years ago. My only mistake was the time he had let it grow out almost to his shoulders and I didn’t trim it close before using the clippers. I heard a lot of “ouch” that day.

   Good morning, Vagabonds.

   Welcome to fall my friends. The weather channel says our high will be 85 today with a 6% chance of rain. All I know is that the sky is overcast.

   I came clean with my doctor yesterday about the PT. I also told her that since it hadn’t seemed to make any difference with my knee I had planned to start up again anyway. What not doing it for 2 weeks did reveal was that the hip was starting to get worse again and I needed to continue not only the PT but the medication as well. I even got a shot in my hip (cortisone I think). I go back again in early November.

   This is going to sound a bit morbid, but I got to thinking last night that if something happened to me soon, who’s going to call and cancel all my upcoming appointments. Then I realized I won’t care and went back to sleep.

   We went out to another BBQ place yesterday for dinner. It’s called “Lucille’s” (which happens to be my mother’s name). The appetizer and the meats & sauce were really good. The sides were either too spicy or bland to the point of being tasteless. Overall we gave it a 3 (out of 5) and probably won’t go back. There are too many really good BBQ places around to waste our time or money. Oh yeah, the waiter was terrific too, very personable and very helpful.

   Off to bible study this morning. I’ve been up since about 5:30 just because my mind was moving too fast to settle back down. So I got all my “toon tour” done and still have time before I leave.

   Given the “safeguards” in place today, I sometimes wonder how any of us survived childhood or adolescence.

   Helen Keller was born immediately post civil-war. She would definitely been aware of that distinction.

    I’m glad somebody was. I’m in my 70’s and still cringe about some of the stupid things I did as an adolescent.
