William Tidler Jr always says that about the colour. Day after day, after day. he says it all the time with no prompting.

I suspect he’s trying to convince him of something.

Just ignore him, the strip itself is great, and the actual colours that strip authors actually wanted to use can be seen on their website at http://macnelly.com/archives/shoe_daily/shoe_daily011009.jpg

Brookins, Cassatt and Ms. MacNelly are not color-blind. Look at the colours how they intended them to be for this strip at http://macnelly.com/archives/shoe_daily/shoe_daily010709.jpg

The colour is not great. Compare it with the original from the strip creators at http://macnelly.com/archives/shoe_daily/shoe_daily010509.jpg

The gocomics version is too garish. The green on the trees is far too bright, and the blues have too much cyan in them.

The “bull about the colour” is when you compare the above strip with the original at http://macnelly.com/archives/shoe_daily/shoe_daily010209.jpg

Do you see how the colour of the trees in the first panel above are completely garish? The original strip has the trees in the first panel coloured more like the trees in the last panel of the above strip.

The tree is also a lighter blue in the above strip, when compared with the original which is a darker purple colour
