New motivation for dad to get his honey-dos done quickly…

The slight irritation of fixing a faucet would be miniscule compared to having to:

Replace the bathroom tiles because of flooding Buy a new sink because it cracked under Calvin’s weight *Pay for mom’s visit to a therapist-psychiatrist *Repair the main sewer system

    All of the above.

That’s a first! Calvin honest AND polite. Wow. Usually he would try to BS his way through and leave a parting insult for Ms. Wormwood.

@ skier348. That would be awesome. I mean think about it. So many of our favorite comics (Peanuts, Garfield, Spiderman, the Simpsons…) already have. Why not C&H?

@Fede79: It will only work until Hobbes as been conditioned to a new stimulus: the opening of the door. Provided Calvin is at school, this could make for some interesting situations. I wonder how Mom or Dad would feel about getting pounced on? Hehehe

Ugh. Susy? I would have thought Hobbes had better taste than that. It’s OK, Hobbes, take your time. I haven’t met too many babes either, until recently, and she is worth the wait.

Calvin won’t fall for it. Hobbes, if caterpillars are really that great, why haven’t you eaten this one already? If a tiger is unwilling to share it’s territory, how much less its food?

looks like Calvin’t not the only doofus. Lazy work partners are life. What does she expect from Calvin? A miracle evidently. She knows he’s not doing his share, but she can’t get over it. Yes Susie, you will probably have to tell the teacher. Now get to work or it WILL be your fault!

That’s women for ya’ Calvin. They can hold a grudge like none other… It’s not enough that you said you were sorry and helped her look for her eyeball, she wants revenge.

(whispering) For the rest of us, I think these kind of happenings are what squashed the last modicum of Calvin’s compassion for humans (Hobbes doesn’t count).

@ optimystic: Hobbes has the best tactics!

I learned long ago that snow forts don’t work in a good snowball fight. The key is to stay mobile, keep well stocked, and actually hit your target. What I lack in the third category I usually make up for in the second. And ambushes rule! Every man (or tiger?) for himself!

@ #1 Redskins fan: How can you believe in a loving God who tortures people in a lake of fire for eternity? Sounds more like a s.a.d.i.s.t to me.

@ dusoltory-phillip: I appreciate your zeal, but picking fights with people only makes thing worse. “An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth makes the whole world blind and toothless”- Mahatma Ghandi

@lx013: I doubt it. Hobbes knows Calvin too well…
