I once heard that a relative of mine (a great uncle or something like that) lived on a farm that I think had livestock and such… he lived into his 80s/90s still doing farm work, from what I remember. So perhaps the quality of ingredients makes a difference, alongside exercise!

As to the comic, I’m like lightenup (and I suppose Cathy, at least in this particular strip). I like the kind of shopping where one takes a brief look here and there for a bit, enjoys the novelty of mall architecture, maybe enjoys the food court, then goes on to some other activity! Unless there is something in particular I’m looking for.
Golly, two pounds of candy? Sounds like lots of fun snacking is in order (with a lot of hikes in the invigorating fall weather)!

I once trained one of my family’s cats to tap his paw on my leg to get some of my food… he has never forgotten. I really ought to train him to know when it’s no use to try it…
