Luann and what’s-her-name’s dresses would look better if not for that stupid bow on them. Those bows are driving me nuts.

That’s his story and he’s sticking to it!

GC might delete the comments with links to other sites, though. They’ve done it to me. At least I got it before they did.

That’s what I saw yesterday. I got to it by following a link but it’s not in their A to Z list.

My mom did Sunday school for a bit and she never had to bring treats. But yeah, Sunday school teachers usually have a second “real” job that pays unless they have a spouse that makes enough money for both of them. And on top of that, they also spend the rest of the week preparing their lesson. So even more work.

The wakes I’ve been to didn’t have food, really. When my maternal grandpa died, the funeral home did have a tray of cookies downstairs. But that was the only time I ever saw that. People brought stuff to the house. One of the ladies’ organizations from the church arranged the luncheon for after the funeral. These days, it seems like the churches don’t do that (at least not the Catholic ones). If the family wants to arrange it, they can. When my dad died, we couldn’t afford that but the supermarket I worked at provided a lunch meat tray and rolls and then a couple of friends provided another one. We had drinks and I also got some pistachio ambrosia from my supermarket (LOVE that stuff!).

She’s actually eating cereal that’s good for you? I thought she’d be all over the sugary cereals.

  9. 1 day ago on Animal Crackers

This is ridiculous!!! If the comic hasn’t been updated, don’t put the flag on it that shows it was!!!!!

About eating the food? Neither. Just saying. About working thru all that insanity? Totally complaining. The fact that I worked at McD’s at all is a complaint in and of itself. That job was Hades on Earth. In fact, when I die, I will be instantly canonized for sainthood for all dung I had to take.
