Some of the upgraded intersections in my town have buttons that you can just wave your hand close to to activate. The signal also has a voice recording to tell you when to cross.
I remember awhile back a guy owned some undeveloped property that the city wanted to re-zone or otherwise do something that would significantly increase his property taxes. Turns out that there were a few graves on the property and that allowed him to fight off the change. Something in the tax code protecting cemeteries. Last I heard, the city had worked out some compromise with the owner. I keep wondering if that’s why Trump buried her there, rather than a cemetery.
One nice thing about digital is that you can easily take multiple exposures with different lighting, angles, and zoom. Memory is cheap. You don’t even need to delete bad photos if you don’t want to. Another is that most phones take multiple shots in a fraction of a second. Group photos where someone blinked at the wrong time is avoidable.
Thankfully I live in a neighborhood with no HOA.
On a related note, if I think we don’t need an HOA because none of the houses in the neighborhood are an eyesore, is my house the eyesore?
