Unfortunately, if Iran would use any weapons they may have, many other women and children would already be butchered. And when someone calls your bluff, not answering will get many more butchered. I would rather see “theirs” be buried than “mine” if they start it.

wtfallnamestaken - I Googled and Yahood the name, but only found 1 of about 50 articles that implied Bush may have used his services. And then only implied. All did imply that the GOP was using him as a shill, knew he was gay, etc. but the majority think he was just that, a shill.

Beirut is the quintessential comment on the ability of the republican presidents to concern themselves with anything other than their own monetary gain. Look at Cheney and Haliburton and Iraq.

I have watched my mother die, it is not a point for you to use as a defamation of my character, as a matter of fact, why don’t you go attempt aerial intercourse at a rotating toroidal pastry.

Yes some of the people that have defended this country have wound up homeless, and a larger percentage than the general populous. Sometimes it is just because that’s what they are. Other times it is because that is what they wound up being because of their experiences. For those in the first category, they would be this way no matter what, and I feel that they are what they are., good or bad. For those in the second category, I think we owe them something, if only counseling to possibly draw themselves out and back to what they were. Hard to tell the difference between the two though. PTSD is another condition of being what you are because of what you experience. I have no idea why they would have been refused help?

I’m with Ted - New trial. Justice, as hard as it is to get, surely is not served by something as onerous as the implications of an affair between the Judge and Prosecutor. Bias is present somewhat when we are completely detached from the people we are dealing with. It is a given with those we are intimate with.

But then this is Texas we are talking about. And I am serious, no joking.

What service does an insurance company provide? And could that service be better provided on say a local non government level instead of a national level? Do we need the service they provide? Is there enough competition in the Health Care System?

Who said you had to stay in the city? Or are there no roads were you live?

Garden plots have never been a problem for me. Once the seeds are planted all you have to do is about 1/2 to 1 hour every other day and you get your veggies. Lots cheaper than the grocery store, and they’re as “clean” as you want to make them. Neither has it been a problem getting meat from the wild. One deer or Elk or Antelope or Bison each year brings the old grocery store bill down. Both feel kind of natural when you actually figure them out and enjoy the rewards of your labor.
