We have a rubber sheet thingy we got as a freebie. The first one we had was called a (wait for it) Round Tuit. For some reason, Ann got rid of it when her credit union handed out rectangular ones (that weren’t as wide). We also have one of those pry-things meant for breaking jar seals. But the prize of the collection was my mother’s (I grabbed it before Sis did!) – it has two curved grippers and a geared handle to tighten them up on the lid. Works on anything from old style Ketchup bottles on up. It’s such a good design that I see Oxo is making a version now.
