I once interviewed for a drafting position at a company that built custom homes. Their slogan was “getting people in the most home that they can afford.”
A year after I interviewed with them, they were out of business, back when the housing marked changed. I am glad that I did not get the job offer from them. It just did not feel right.
A couple of weeks later I had another job interview, and I have been with that company for 17 years in January.
We took a trip to South Dakota a few years ago, before dad passed, and it is an interesting state. We went there to tour the Minuteman Missile National Park, and had a good week.
During the Cuban Missile Crisis, dad was working for Boing, on the setup of the Minuteman launch centers.
So that is why Phill likes to have people come visit. It is the only way that he can get a chair to himself.
