Lol! Which martial art school is he doing? I remember being a green belt in Tae Kwon Do but we didn’t have to break any boards til at least brown belt testing. I was pretty tipsy going to that test and broke a 3-stack without thinking. Barely passed the rest because of sloppy form though.
Muay Thai has clinches? Since when? As a Thai that’s watched many a match, I’ve never seen a ‘legal’ clinch unless they’re just holding to stop the pommelling and kicking and elbowing and whatever else that makes an effective impact against the opponent.
