Colorado goes through rapid temperature changes so snow can partially melt on the windshield and then freeze hard. It’s hard to scrape the ice off with wipers stuck in the ice so the wipers are left up to leave just glass to be scraped. Removing ice from raised wipers is just a matter of hitting then with the ice scraper until it all falls off.

If you contact the Cherokee Tribal Council, they will inform you that there is no such thing as a Cherokee Indian Reservation and never has been one. They are a nation.

Circa 1966, I remember that the middle school girls wore panty girdles that were a kind of a transition garment between true girdles and panty hose. When slow dancing, it felt like a layer of armor.
Investigator: You were often seen in the company of 14 year old girls in 1966.
Me: So? I was a 14 year old boy in 1966.

Outward opening doors don’t allow for screen, storm, or security doors on the exterior side and can be caught by the wind and be damaged themselves or do damage. All my standard home doors open inward but a package left on my front step blocked my storm door from opening without sweeping the package (and its fragile contents) off the step. Took some elderly gymnastics to reach around the door edge and ease it off the step as the door opened.

You should have started your own comment outside of the context of someone else’s comment, since you are criticizing the comic. One could alternately say “Of the TVs that my grandparents are selling, one is kind of old.” Note that “grandparents are selling” is part of the prepositional clause.

I once teased my Irish-American wife when she complained about being unprepared to go to an event with “Well, Irish-Red the unready…” but I didn’t get to the part where I helped her out because she interrupted with an angry raised voice, “I have no idea what that means!” (sigh) Another good pun gone to waste.

One of the things I used to do for my late wife was get into bed on her side on cold nights and warm it up for her. The first time I did it she was suspicious I had another motive in mind; after that, her face would light up when she saw it.
It takes two to tangle, Janis.
