I’m not quite sure which is more radical – the fellows trying to fish, or the chap waiting for the thaw before he can go water skiing.

Oh, let’s help us all to get to where we’d all like to be … I’m sure he’d like to make a donation, wouldn’t he?

I have always entered this season with a great deal of fear and trepidation; this one’s no different.

Would you have trusted this man to sell you insurance? I once heard that insurance companies want you to give them staggering amounts of money with the understanding that you’ll NEVER need to us their services. When you do, all H#ll breaks out!

Oh, I take your point .. I grew up with a father and grandfather, both of whom served in the army – one in the First War, the other in the Second, and they both went to have haircuts every fortnight (2 weeks) more-or-less whether they needed them or not. Nowadays it’s more like 6 weeks or more. For me, that is, both of those gentlemen are no longer with us. As a barber once said to me, as you get older you start losing hair where you want it and start growing it where you don’t – up you nose, in your ears and so on. By the way, I didn’t mean to come across as rude in my last comment to you; I was just curious.
