My favorite finn photo

maureenmck Premium

Need my daily fix of "Agnes," "The Barn," and "Scary Gary" with my morning coffee & meds. Also hooked on "The Dogs of C-Kennel," "Non Sequitur," and at least a couple of dozen others. The photo at top is of my Malti-Poo, Finnegan .... At 72 years of age, I haven't been willingly photographed in 20 years.

Thanks. I’m going to check that out on Apple Music.

My paternal grandparents were married on New Year’s Eve, 1920. Even though they’ve both been gone now for several decades, one of my favorite stories about them is from a time when they were both in their late 70s. As Grandma told it, she woke one morning to find him staring at her. She said: “What are you doing?” He answered: “I like to watch you sleep. You are still so beautiful.”

    Ozzy Osborne? Perry Mason?

It’s somehow comforting to see the cows being depicted as thoroughly enjoying their “heaven on earth” — even if only in a comic strip.

I recently changed my DIRECTV package to one that includes MeTV, and can now watch M*A*S*H, Kolchak (Night Stalker), Alfred Hitchcock Presents, and Twilight Zone, all to my heart’s content. I wasn’t expecting, however, to get so wrapped up in the Perry Mason series. I love it! … the cheesy-sleezy dialogue, the big hair and extreme makeup that all the women wore, even to bed (except, of course, Della Street), and even Paul’s flirting. He wouldn’t last 2 days in an office today before being sent to HR, charged with harassment.
