My favorite finn photo

maureenmck Premium

Need my daily fix of "Agnes," "The Barn," and "Scary Gary" with my morning coffee & meds. Also hooked on "The Dogs of C-Kennel," "Non Sequitur," and at least a couple of dozen others. The photo at top is of my Malti-Poo, Finnegan .... At 71 years of age, I haven't been willingly photographed in 20 years.

That makes sense for yesterday’s strip, but today is Monday.

I was also waiting for the continuation of Opus’s nose job storyline.

It could still be Bob … He wouldn’t have to be on any form of social media for Rat to insult him on his own Twitter accounts.

I know they’re different, but couldn’t recall how, other than Pedal Pushers came before Capris, so I went to Google: Pedal Pushers became popular during the 50s, and usually were a looser fit, sometimes cuffed, and ended at mid-calf. Capris are defined as shorter, slim-fitting pants that end just below the knee, and usually have a slit at the outside of each leg. Well, that’s what Google says, anyway … but I remember that Mary Tyler Moore, as Laura Petrie, created quite a stir by being the first TV housewife to wear “Capri” pants instead of dresses and pearls and high heels. However, her Capris, slim-fitting and worn with flats, ended just a few inches above her ankles. High-Waters?

Bub made it clear in the last panel that, for him, this is a mother-in-law joke. Betty already knows what Bub thinks of her mother.

Remember ~ This strip takes place in decades past, back when “9 to 5” was considered the normal office work day. Red’s dad may not need to leave for work until about 8:35.

I didn’t see that his “olive” was actually a blue eye until I read your post. Thanks!

… or is Carmen hooked up to the Matrix in the 2nd panel? It’s a Matrix controlled by cat overlords.

Was that line spoken by Coach? I don’t remember, but it sure sounds like him.
