Oregon has been doing exclusively Vote By Mail since the late 1990s. Incidences of fraud have been all but nonexistent. Percentage of people voting has increased and nobody stands in line for hours to vote. VBM wasn’t imposed on people there. It was evolutionary, not revolutionary. The number of people voting by absentee ballot increased to the point where it didn’t make economic sense to maintain an in-person election system.
The top 10-12 teams will never share that bounty with 68-70 other schools. A 24-team league is almost too many. The only reason it might be even that large is that the top teams need patsies to beat up on. Everybody can’t go 11-1 or 10-2 in a 12- or 14-team league.
