You’ll have a long wait for that. The comment section for this comic is little more than a sewer, full of comments by people who aren’t 1% as funny or as clever as they think they are. Why they continue to comment on a comic they hate is beyond comprehension.
I wondered about that at the time, knowing that my walking shoes have a curved tip. Since they couldn’t realistically measure his shoe tip and correlate it with the video, the ruling should have been that the TD was upheld because the replay was inconclusive.
Banning the books creates more interest in them, because students want to see what’s in them that’s so bad. Students are more, not less, likely to be exposed to those (supposedly bad) things because of the school’s, or school board’s, actions.
That’s like the old joke. A guy goes into a restaurant and says, “Do you serve crabs?” And the waiter replies, “Yes, but we’d rather serve pleasant people.”
It also depends on how you shop. Pay attention to sales prices, special deals that attach to a loyalty card or other rewards system, and cash back on credit cards.
