Well, at least you can see that the judge and jury actually exist, unlike whichever god your neighbors will punish you for not believing in. ;-)

Hey; he’s a bird. None of them has breasteses. They have totally different ways of feeding their babies. ;-)

Historians often like to point out that in in the early decades of the USA, voting was restricted to property-owning white males. Recently, this has been mentioned as the real meaning behind the MAGA phrase. ;-)

Maybe, but remember that the very rich receive very little money as “income”; mostly it reaches them via methods that don’t legally qualify for that term. It’s only the poor and middle classes that have “income”.

Of course, those of us who didn’t vote for him will get a government that they don’t deserve. This includes those who aren’t allowed to vote, which is around half of the population.

I’ve been seeing remarks (and cartoons) about how the US’s Christian leaders are upsetting their God (and their Jesus) with their support for Trump.

Reminds me of the old semi-joke “How do you know that a politician is lying?” The answer, of course, is “Their lips are moving.” ;-)

Over the past year, I’ve looked for “Project 2025” online, with litle success. The matches for that phrase generally lead to pages that can be summarized as “Project 2025 … bad … don’t like”, with no actual info saying anything specific about it. Anyone know where there’s an accurate description of what it’s all about? (This is an ongoing problem with all sorts of political issues, of course, but Project 2025 seems to be an especially information-free zone.)

I’ve found that FB groups vary widely in how “social” they are. Some of them, especially the humorous ones, are quite social, though they do have ongoing problems with visitors who lack a sense of humor. ;-)
