All true, and here it comes, BUT, I was eleven years old when the pledge was changed. And I was sixteen going to an all girls school in Baltimore when a boy and his mother in a neighboring school began their quest to take prayer out of school. After that, all there was of any God in any of the public schools was the God in the Pledge. I was sad because I was of no faith and it was on of the few positive values in my life back then. Today, I read Mike Morgan because I want a strip which “celebrates the faith and pokes fun at the foibles of the characters who make up [any] congregation”. For Heaven’s Sakes, guys, just turn the page like you change channels, or drop the subscription. But let us who enjoy 1 strip out of 146 strips, enjoy it in peace. God bless.
Amen to both of your comments!
