I remember when I’d pick blueberries as a teenager I’d dress in layers. When things started to warm up and the morning dew on the bushes dried I’d take off my windbreaker and keep going with my long sleeve shirt, when it got warmer I’d take off the long sleeve shirt and keep working with my short sleeve shirt, then my T shirt, and on the really warm days I’d get down to the skin. At the end of the day I’d pick everything up and go home to sleep and get ready for the same thing the next day.
when I was young my family use to travel around in a camper that was wide and tall enough that people couldn’t see past it. My father wasn’t a speed demon, but he wasn’t a slow poke either. I remember a few times when we’d get stuck behind slow traffic and people would pass us thinking we were the cause of the traffic and at least once I remember seeing the other driver give my father the finger and then see the long line of cars ahead of us and slink back into line behind us.
The song was mentioned in an episode of Futurama, Fry met another guy who was frozen from his era. They agreed that the dance wasn’t as safe as the song made it sound.
