    Not fit material for a comic strip, but Lewis developed a fondness for dog meat as prepared by the native Americans they met on their journey. When questioned about how that could happen for him being a loving owner of Seaman, he told the inquisitors that Seaman is his pet; the dogs obtained from the Indians are cattle.
