Born and raised Canuck from Manitoba. My avatar is Penny, a Min Pin/Rat Terrier cross. I think her original owners named her that as she was the colour of a penny, but is now getting more gray, just like me.

Mr. Raeside is in New Zealand. They’re just finishing up their spring.

Sorry to hear that, Lady Bri! Hunker down in bed, listen to your nurses, and soon you’ll be right as rain (so they tell me). :-)

It doesn’t matter that they are beagles Moonkey, what is important are their hearts. ♥

My sympathies for your loss, Jody. I hope that having the ofrenda for Dia de los Muertos brings you comfort and allows you to remember your daughter and all the joy you shared.

Many years back, I was at the vet with our late family cocker spaniel, Buddy. This was during his twilight years and he wasn’t seeing too well. Buddy was under my chair on his leash, when a Dobie entered the waiting room (also leashed). The Dobie stared at Buddy and appeared to be drooling and licking his choppers. We were shortly thereafter called in, and when exiting, we passed another exam room just in time to witness aforementioned Dobie on his back legs, with his face and front paws pressed against the small door window, with a “Save me! Get me out of here!” look upon his face. I couldn’t help but laugh, but I did feel a little sorry for him. That’ll teach you to look at my poor Buddy like he was a liver snap!

I had to re-examine the drawing a couple of times to understand what I was seeing. Once I realized Bonnie and Clyde were resting their upper bodies on the wall and tilting their heads back, I got the effect I think Nancy was going for. Perhaps they were excited to see their dear friend, Kate, and began chittering with happiness!
