   I was 59 when I had to find a barber for the first time. My mother did a great job until she grew too feeble - age 91. Haven’t found a barber who can do as well on my potato shape.

    Can those fancy text-message gizmos take a lickin’ and keep on tickin’? I’ve got some fence posts to pound this afternoon - my twenty-year old Timex has outlasted three watchbands. Can an Apple or whatever take that?
