It will be perfect. Fred will see to it.
The neighborhood cats pay no attention to my aged basset and he returns the favor.
Claim his favorite chair and leave some basset fur behind.
Track him down Fred. Don’t forget you are a scent hound not a sight hound.
My basset sometimes drags his bed out from his house. He has an outdoor bed but I guess he wants more choices.
My basset (Plum) wants no part of cats. He allows them to eat his food and take over his house. Often I have to come to his rescue from a feral colony of pushy cats.
Fred is in a win win. He has plausible deniability if Yorky is caught and a good meal if he is not. Yorky has all the risk and half the reward.
