   Not really. He has his own idea about what the play Shakespeare wrote means. “Failure to communicate” was the theme of the play? If the teacher wants to develop that theses, he could do so himself, although I doubt he would find many “excerpts from the story” that would support it even if he translated them into “modern-day dialog.” On the other hand, he might have asked the students to identity what THEY saw as the underlying theme of Romeo and Juliet and support that with excerpts from the play.

   You put the ‘A’ within marks. Why? It’s a perfectly good prefix that we still use quite properly every day, from the time we awake to the moment we fall asleep, every time we go across the street and whenever we step aboard a bus. It is not ungrammatical or ignorant. It is good colloquial English.

   There was once a famous French magician who would challenge any man in the audience to lift a small iron dumbbell. After every hefty male in the audience had tried and failed to hoist the weight from the floor, the magician’s five year old son would come out and pick it up effortlessly with only one hand.

   In the first panel it looks as if everyone is talking at the same time. What’s going on here? Isn’t this in Canada? I thought only Americans did that.

    The comments from Trump supporters here are foolish, as might be expected from fools. Sorry to have to say that bluntly. I understand we are all prone to wishful thinking sometimes, but the torrent of nonsense that has poured out of the mouth of the swindler-in-chief really should have triggered even reasonable person’s BS detector long ago. We can’t plan for our future following a leader whose only skill is spinning fantasies. Trump will never and can not make America great again. He lacks the critical thinking and real leadership needed to do that.
