The implied sexism is this comic really grates. Luann knows how to change a tyre because a man taught her. Brad would never say say “I know how to change a tyre because my dad taught me”, he’d just say “I know how to change a tyre”.
No, agreed. But not helping – when there was literally nothing that he could do to help – proved he trusted me.
(of course, that’s not everything, but I think that was the moment I decided “yes”)
