Where did you all think those fleece jackets came from anyways? And hunting them is so easy:Me – Oh dear my shoe has come untied…Muppet – Oh…me help…me know how to tie sho…arrghhh let go me neck….
Umm…not to be too critical, but as an anthropologist I feel that I should point out that the Mighty Shmoe Pong is an ape, not a monkey. But great art work today.
Isn’t the game actually teaching him to release pent up anger through a virtual and non-harmful form of entertainment? Wouldn’t a good counselor or parent guide a child to the conclusion that it is good to release these emotions, but to do so in a manner that is either productive or not harmful to either the target or the child? Why are these games seen as the genesis of violence as opposed to a response to real world violence? and can they not in truth work both ways?
Yes…the world needs this app. And it would be hilarious how few people would get the self reference of hitting someone with a rolled up comics section for playing apps and not paying attention to where they are going.
You are correct; I wasn’t actually looking to get very deep into the discussion as there are numerous proposed explanations for homosexuality in numerous species and it would honestly take more than a semester to introduce them all. It is simply that when I read where someone on the internet is using Darwinism to deride homosexuality I am tempted to exclaim…Bonobos! But that is also my answer to many claims of types of sex not being natural. I was going for simple and understandable. Have a good one.
Sorry, but as an anthropologist I have to disagree. Homosexuality is found in other species as a form of quelling disagreement and violence. Therefore it is beneficial to the species and contributes to survival of the fittest (where fittest actually means those most likely to reach the age of sexual maturity).
My degree in anthropology ordains that I must make the statement that “Apes are not monkeys”. Thank you.
