WOW, way to intense comments, it’s just a comic strip. It’s just supposed to be fun to read, not a doctoral dissertation.

Hopefully long enough to bankrupt the RNC and ruin their down ballot candidates

I think he stood up for democracy because he really believes in it. I do not agree with his politics, but he is not a crazy MAGA moron, he is old school republican, from before the lunatics took over. I can remember a time when we could disagree with the conservative right without the outpouring of hate and vitriolic attacks.

Well we all hope that you are right, he needs to lose so bad that there is no doubt that his day has come and gone. Otherwise the orange moron will try again and again. He loves being the center of attention more than anything else in his life.

I agree, if we refuse to abide by the rules of our democracy, it will cease to exist. If we truly want this nation to survive this insanity, we have to stand up and vote. We can beat back the Christian Nationalist/MAGA/QAnon agenda, but not by whining and moaning about how terrible they are. Only by joining together and fighting them in the courts and at the ballot box will we insure that this country, this democracy "of the people, by the people, for the people shall not perish from the earth.”

I think if we had a viable alternative, it would make sense for him to pass on a second term. But if not Biden, then who, Harris, Buttigieg, Newsom? They all have serious weaknesses that the Qpublican party can exploit. As it stands today, he is the only national candidate that has won running against the MAGA crazies.

One of the many problems with the “divorce” concept MTG is promoting is that the states are not all red or blue. Most red states are only slightly more red than blue. In Idaho 58% are republicans, in Iowa 34% are republicans, Kansas 44% Utah 50%, the only truly red state is Wyoming at 80%. So the whole idea of the red/blue states is really just about which party was able to get out the vote, or gerrymander the voters districts. (which the republicans are really good at). This plan is so ridiculous that it could only come from a clown like MTG.

Tzar Putin, how accurate. We can only hope he is treated to the same fate as Nicholas II was.

Yes, it has always amazed me that the only requirements to run for federal office are age, citizenship and residency. All of which are important, but do not insure that the candidate is capable of governing. Intelligence, honesty, ethics and a understanding of the Constitution would seem to be more important than how long or where you have lived.
