This is a temporary separation. Your Cody IS a Very Good Boy. He just needed to trade in that worn out, but well loved, old body for a renovated, fresh one. About the time he gets his fresh body broke in (time is different there), it’ll be about time for you to do the same.

Ya, it hurts, we know. But just think of the joyful reunion when, after a long while (since, you know, that weird time thing), you’ll get to join him.

I know they have worth, and, for me, it must needs be outside of my house. In the garden is a perfect place for spiders. Spiders eat those things that want to eat me so I let them be… Outside.

I like them outside or on their side of the aquarium glass. I wouldn’t purposely kill a spider or snake. But roaches have no such promise!

“I took a drive up the coastal highway, forget the name, from Charleston SC up to NC.”

Hwy 17 is the number you’d forgotten. And Hwy 17A divides itself around Georgetown, SC and goes inland through downtown Summerville and on through Walterboro and down to I 95.

and, Ya, Hwy 17 is a lovely drive until you get to downtown Charleston. Once you get over the bridges and out of Mt. Pleasant (heading north), it becomes lovely again.

Oh, I forgot to mention; the 10 yearlings are in the house overnight pretty consistently. Others that are older (up to 3 years) might spend the night locked inside or in the Sunroom with its in- and out-door for the cats (and sometimes a raccoon or ’possum).

“I thought he was safe in his playpen!”

    I would’a thought so, too.

ya, same here. I missed it the first time and when it should have come around again, this arc was skipped.

I only knew about it this time because a kind commenter on Breaking Cat News mentioned it.
