    Now you did it.

    Google is not old enough to know the meaning of or the pronunciation of “boor”.

    And neither do the kids you posted at. :}

    Savage makes a good rifle for a decent price. Both my .308 and .30-06 are Savage 110L models. I had to go to Sako to get my 6.5mm Creedmoor because Savage does not make left hands in all calibers any more. Sako and Howa still do.

    Depends on where you live and the type of terrain you are hunting. Here in the East, .30-.30, .243, .308, .30-06, .257, and others like that are used with a few areas being shotgun only. West of the Mississippi, .30-.30, .308, .30-06, 270, 6mm and 6.5mm (including the Creedmoor), 7mm-06 and other long range cartridges are more the norm.Then there is .32, .36, .38, .45, .50, .54, and my favorite .56 in blackpowder. Both in flintlock and, cap and ball.

    Ollie Joe Prater: …"Trust me guys, you don’t want to get snow on the end of your thermometer. You can’t find that thing even with an Admiral Byrd expedition. And taking a leak outside in the winter, it’s like Honey, I’m looking for it, I know it was here when we got in the car.

    No way in the world that I would take a job with “politicians”. (little letter deliberate)I had enough when I was in the Army. Officers, for the most part, are almost as bad as politicians.

    Did not say that markets work that way now. Nor did I say that they could not. Being born in 47, I am familiar with Smoot-Hawley, among others.

    I think it would be much simpler, and more equitable, to just redo the trade agreements with a clause that states that what standards the U.S. imports have to meet to be allowed in a particular country, that country’s exports to us have to meet.
