   One advantage in watching comics on the web is that small details that would be easily missed on the newspaper page are more evident. Today, it’s Sally resting her arm on Snoopy’s head in the 3rd panel.

   One of the best hitters ever. For completeness, his career batting average – .344; career on-base percentage – .482; slugging+on-base percentage – 1.116 (second only to Babe Ruth). Even his managerial record was not too bad – .429 with the rather awful Washington Senators/Texas Rangers.
