Alice needs to talk to the lady in the old story about sneezing and having her dentures fly out, bounce around on the floor, and get all dirty. Her dentist recommended a particular adhesive for her to try. When he asked her if her dentures still got all dirty on the floor, she replied, “Nope — now when I sneeze, they stick to the wall.”

QBs have always been subject to injury, whether frageelay or not. I don’t think it’s a new phenomenon. Neither does Joe Theisman. Or Johnny Unitas. Or Roger Staubach. Or even Sammy Baugh.

Reminiscent of an old joke about a guy who complained to his dentist that every time he sneezed, his dentures would fly out and get all dirty bouncing around on the floor. Dentist recommended a better dental adhesive. Dentist followed up a week later; the patient reported the dentures didn’t get dirty any more. Now when he sneezes, they stick to the wall.

Came here to see if the art had been fixed. In my newspaper today, the speech bubble attribution arrow in the second panel is pointing to Fillmore, not Hawthorne. Made a very interesting – and confusing – take on today’s dialogue.

There was also a “Pickles” strip where Grandpa skips a rock into the water and then tells his grandson something like, “That’s the most fun it’s had in 50,000 years.”

Not as hard as it is to put the cat in the washing machine for his weekly bath.
