You make me so glad I have a really big oven, and keep my racks low, so I never have to deal with “oh, @#*!” Day!! Plus, this year I am spatchcocking the turkey, so a higher rack height still works.
He couldn’t get in to it, urethra is too constricted. He put in a temporary plastic stent to stretch it out and will try again in a few days/couple weeks, not sure when. Meanwhile, whatever was going on while I was unconscious has pretty close to my entire body in pain. I feel like I worked out for hours yesterday, hard, after never exercising before.
Yeah, 10mm way too big. It’s the size of a hazelnut. I have a procedure tomorrow (11/20) to break it up. They’re going in with a camera and a laser in a catheter…… Going to blast it like the Enterprise at a meteor. Wish me luck.
Yes, always be your own (best) advocate with healthcare professionals. YOU know your body better than anyone else. I am now learning how to deal with “those little b@$t@rds” though is it still a “little” b@$t@rd at 10 mm? Everyone is surprised I made it to 60 without having one before, and that I am not a screaming pile of madness from the pain. Honestly, it’s doing more screwing up my balance and causing fatigue. And since I deal with chronic pain daily, well, a bit more on the pile doesn’t mean much. Like throwing pair of socks on a three-foot pile of laundry.
