AI is a tool, not much different in the long run than Photoshop. WQe are now hearing the doom and gloom about AI, and accusations of just about EVERY image posted online as being AI, just like we used to hear it about Photoshop. HOW a tool gets used determines if it is good or ill. I play around with Photoshop and use it to draw blueprints for things I want to make. I play around with a free AI drawing ap, and virtual chat ap. Neither can produce a picture or story worthy of publishing. The AI image drawings, using prompts I designate can never get an image like I see it. (for the record, my drawing skills never made it past 5th grade level. I just cannot make my hands draw what my mind sees) The AI chat bot seems to have Alzheimer’s and will say things that contradict prior parts of the story/discussion. Continuity is non-existent. ANYONE trying to use AI to fake someone’s art is not only criminal (fraud laws already exist) but foolish, because AI just can’t reach a human level of quality.
If it is a dense enough cloud, even plastic glitter would show up on, and scatter, radar. My mother’s air National Guard did training mock invasions of other Air Guard and USAF bases, using a LOT of chaff, and some of that stuff was incredibly light, thin and sometimes not even metal.
I’ll give up my iced tea when they pry it from my poor dead heat-stroked fingers!!!!!Now, for relaxing in the evening, just about any hot pot of tea (except Earl Grey,,, bleah) really hits the spot. Even a good strong “breakfast blend” does not keep me awake at night!
That’s a pretty serious accusation against whoever is operating that AI. You do have proof, of course,,,, right?
