I set up a pretty simple spreadsheet for income and expenditures and update it every week. It takes less than a half an hour and it’s straightforward to gather whatever data you need and can be used for “what if” scenarios. My wife does it every other month or so and we got one of our daughter in laws who is a pro to see it and she has all passwords as well. If my wife and I are in an accident it’s comforting to know all is taken care of.

A town near here is named Eaton. High schoolers there had to change the mascot, it was native American, and they voted overwhelmingly for the Beavers. All was well until someone on the board said the two together. Eaton Beavers is a mascot I could get behind!
