If the situation were reversed with Toni desiring a child and Brad putting off even a deep discussion, much less showing her the finances, people reading this strip would not be on his side. He would be labeled a “man-child” or described as “putting off his responsibilities as a husband.”
Frank still an office job. The arc where the DeGroots went a cabin? That cabin was owned by Frank’s boss. A few years ago, Frank & Nancy purchased the empty warehouse that they turned into the Fuse. TJ is partial owner since he runs the cafe. Gunther’s stepfather, Al, is also partial owner since he runs the day-to-day.
