   I had saltwater fish that never lived very long but I had two freshwater clown loaches that lived over 15 years in a 10-gallon aquarium, but they both died in the Northridge earthquake. :-(

   I used to keep newspaper strategically around in different places for just this. Also, I kept a metal bowl close to where she usually threw up in the morning and she would give me enough warning if I was nearby and that was the easiest to clean up. Only once did she ever throw up on the kitchen floor! She stopped eating so fast as she aged so she doesn’t do that anymore except a hairball now and then. I know….TMI

   Since Unger died in 2012 and was born in England but died in Canada…maybe the phrasing “car order” comes from one of these two countries.

    I had to look up the story about the asteroid and it seems they knew about it way back in February of 2023 and it passed by in October of 2023.
