These comments mock the movie Tarzan which is a far cry from the Burroughs character. Burrough’s Tarzan was very articulate, able to teach himself language from books and art.
I’m reminded of the fellow who stopped at a farmhouse to ask for directions. After a rather useless exchange with the farmer, the enquirer says, "You don’t know much, do you?The farmer replied, “I ain’t lost.”
Different cultures used different values for pi. E.g. The ancient Hebrews used 3 not 3.14… You can find it in the Biblical account of the construction of the tabernacle.
Reminds me of Jesus’ saying “Strait is the gate and narrow the way that leads to eternal life and few there be that find it.”
