I am not even American, so while I don’t have a deep knowledge of CRT, I know that it is not what is been spouted off as by Fox, etc and the idea of not talking about the bad things of your past is foreign to me.

I live in a country where were have had (and still do have) major racial issues, but instead of burying it, we spoke about it – a lot and have a better understanding of the past.

So long as the meat tastes exactly the same and the meat cut looks the same, I actually have no issue with lab-grown meat.

I love Calvin and Hobbes. Never get tired of reading it even thought it is over 30 years old

No. Pull that band-aid off now. Understanding what the people were actually like in history is important. They may have done good things in one regard but were really horrible in others – then you can see why certain things were the way they were with the whole story. Only then can you properly understand your history and then actually accept it. Best to remove those rose-tinted glasses.

Easy, Water boils at 100 and freezes at 0 as opposed to 32F for freezing and 212F so if it is below 0C, it is below freezing. Perfect correlation. A comfortable temperature is around 25C (for me), humidity dependent.

It is there, it is just not commonly used.

So 12 feet in 1 foot and then 3 feet in yard then 1760 yards into 1 mile (I had to look that up to get it right) is easier than 10 into 1, then 10 into then 10 in 1.

And if you forget, the name tells you how many of the standard unit there is (kilo = 1000x, milli 1/1000, centi 1/100 – these are the common ones).

    That’s just strange.

Interest-free loans and an interest in politics… Calvin is starting to remind me of a few things.
