   To each their own, but my daughter encouraged me to go to the movies this past Sunday…it was nice to get out of the house. And the theater was pretty empty for the movie I saw.

   He must’ve meant Nissan….the head gasket blew on my Nissan Rogue, I had to replace the engine after the warranty expired. The AC went and they weren’t able to fix it, now I have to replace the alternator (the alternator can go on any car, just thought I’d throw that in there).

    Juneteenth is not “purely a Texas thing.” While it is about slavery finally being reported as being abolished in Galveston, TX….it is now a federal holiday meaning public offices are closed. It has significance to people with slavery in their ancestry regardless of the state we live in.
