He’s just wiping off the brush in 1st panal – if it’s already dry, it won’t wipe off.

Shannon has a future in art.Our son knew at 5, he wanted to be an artist. Way different that his father & I, who had no idea what we wanted to be when we grew up – even in college. In 1st – 2nd grade, John’s teacher had the class collaborate to create books. John drew & others came up with a story. He is now an Illustrator. (Thank you Cornish College of the Arts).

We did lots of house hunting trips before we moved to a different state. We were familiar with the area as my in-laws lived there & my husband gre up there. Our plan was to move back after my husband retired .We toured with a realtors each time. The last time, we went with the realtor & the next day (Sunday). We went by ourselves. We looked in an area that we had not plant to, because a local said we’d get ‘the best bang for your buck’. Drove through 1 subdivision – meh. Drove through another, to the back of the subdivision & went through the model house. It was exactly what we were looking for. Told the realtor there, called our realtor , met at his office & put in an offer. 8 years later, it’s still the perfect house for us.

But you kind of have to wait for the paint to dry.

Luann is showing she would be a great teacher. She is interacting With Shannon, asking what her book will be about and commenting on the size of it (while not flipping out about how much paper will be used).

Glad to hear you’re cancer free again! It’s always a gut punch to hear those words! I’ve had 3 kinds – breast, leukemia & last year, thyroid. Leukemia and the stem cell transplant for the cure, were the hardest & has had the biggest impact on my life. I wasn’t a super active person before, but I helped with gardening, helped around the house more, went hunting & fishing (caught a 140# Marlin) with my husband and worked as a Radiology Technologist for 35 years. We planned on moving to my husband’s home state when he retired & I was going to work a few more years, then we got my diagnosis & he ended up working an extra year to keep his excellent medical & he took care of me. Then we moved after the SCT took, but I was in no shape to do anything, let alone be around sick people. I’m better now and after 8 years finally considered ‘cured’, but still incredibly weak & easily tired out. I lose my balance easily. I have gone fishing again a few time & we going to Mexico again in a month for a week of fishing with my husband’s cousin. I’m not where I was & never will be again, but I’m here & getting to enjoy life & my family!

Yup & you can see the difference in the last frame – Janice is on her phone while being stationary & Arlo is doing nothing.

But Wren’s art isn’t on the walls on the either side of the door now.
