   I must get 5 e-mail requests a day for donations to a candidate as well as being bombarded with false information and mailers (that immediately get tossed). Have become so tired of this political backbitiing and accusations. “More crime!” – wrong. Just one of the statements that make my eyes roll. Decided to become a Luddite .

   Totally agree. I learned map reading as a kid traveling across country with my folks. Later it came in handy in geology class. Still use it when traveling, but my husband prefers the car’s GPS (which often is incorrect – LOL)

   What ever happened to doing math in your head? I learned how and now very rarely resort to a calculator.
