    We had a stream as one of our borders, I could follow it all the way up the escarpment to the Allegheny plateau. When I lived in Fairport it was the towpath along the canal. Now I live in Sweden where we have right of public access so no no trespassing signs ever.

    It doesn’t look like a cuckoo clock either, maybe it’s supposed to be a mini copy of the famous Glockenspiel (bell player) in Munich. Uhr is clock, the english word is an example of those borrowed words that change their meaning (like uhr/hour). Clock/Glock is from the latin for bell.
