I remember hitchhiking from Black Hawk CO to NY state one winter in the 70’s. The lower I got the colder I got, the wetter winds went right through my clothes. Worst was outside St. Louis, I had to light a fire.
Try reading ‘How did the ice age end’ at Live Science. Or the American Museum of Natural History has an answer for children on their Ology ask a scientist page that opines that we are still in the ice age that started 40 million years ago. Interesting reading.

Well, it is a soldier name in swedish, they got names like Lusty, Bold, Tiger, Quick (Lustig, Djärv, Silent or Tiger, Rask) etc because having 50 Axel Larsson in the same regiment was confusing (early 1700s commoners used patronyms). Some of these names were taken as family names when Sweden started the first name last name thing for everybody (except the King, he doesn’t have one). I know a Granat (grenade or artillery shell) . So maybe some swedish ancestry?
Is Lustig a ‘soldatnamn’ or?

Around what year is this from?
