Interesting that you immediately begin denigrating people just because of their age.
So you fancy yourself superior to the majority of A&J readers just because you are younger than they are? Very interesting! Wonder how they all feel about that?
Guess that makes you a politically incorrect ageist.
Btw, how old are your parents? They must be so very proud.
You can’t begin to imagine the tremendous shame and humiliation I now feel having been horrifically labeled “a grouchy old man” by such a young whippersnapper utilizing his vast intellect and moral superiority.

The strip started in 1985 and was about a baby boomer couple, the Days. They had a young son, Gene.
Over the years A&J have pretty much aged in real time; probably in their mid 60’s at this point, but only Mr Johnson knows for sure.
We followed their careers for many years until we all realized that they weren’t going to work anymore; so they went into retirement without it ever being part of a plot line.
The most amazing thing about the strip is that the’ve had the same cat for decades. Count Ludwig Von Steppenmaus III has to be on life 3 or 4 by now.
Only when I’m provoked by one.
Sorry about the age assumption, was thinking that older men had better sense.
