When our feeders are even near empty, Mrs Squirrel sits on the porch rail and stares at the kitchen window. (We feed critters and birds all winter)

This. XHubby asked our daughters if they’d take a parrot if he passed. They said they couldn’t commit to a lifetime pet.

I’d say because it is certified and required for most state ID and passports. I mean, a baby pic wouldn’t help. Some older ones had hand and footprints. At the agency we’d accept family bibles with hand written entries.

My 19 yr old grandson has a tarantula, several snakes and a tortoise. He’s going to need a really understanding girl. I can handle the snakes and the tortoise but that arachnid needs to stay the heck away from Gramma.

There is a fabulous concert location in Gilford, NH which was named “Meadowbrook” for years. Now it’s the Bank of NH pavilion with a propane company as the second name. While it didn’t slow attendance and hosts a great many country music stars all season, it’s just not the same.

The common use of that name for well, another thing might make it rather laughable. I’m a generational Wiccan, and an Italian, so for me she will always be Luna.
