Normally, I find this strip pretty stupid. But not today. We all need the bees. I’m somewhat allergic, but they don’t sting me when I’m out in my garden.

I always thought those signs were stupid. How about “Children-Drive Slowly”?

I made it to S. Oregon, where it was 93%. Yes, my dear friend, and my new boyfriend, all wore our cute dorky glasses. The eclipse was wonderful, all the birds went to roost for the night. My new boyfriend is my friend’s next door neighbor. He’s 102, in great health, and very happy. It was a joy sharing the experience, and with champagne and cheesecake.

I have 2 indoor outdoor cats, and one strictly outdoor cat, because she’s afraid of one of my I/O cats. I saw a British show about cat behavior, and realize my cats time share. Once Laki and Sylvia get their evening canned food, they’re in for the night. Then shortly after, Smudgy comes by for her dinner and lots of pets. It’s been going on for 8 years. I wish I could get Smudgy to like coming in my house, but she hates it. I live in the forest, not near the road, so the danger to her is bobcats, cougars, etc. But she’s one smart, alert cat. She’s a Persion, and how she got here I’ll never know. I live in a very wild, remote area.

I only discovered you a few months ago, but I’m going to miss Beardo. All the best to you.

Actually I do like canned cold ravioli once in awhile. (And I mostly eat very healthful, natural food.) And I’ve camped in the rain many times. I was a girl scout for 8 years, we learned to be strong. I really love Calvin and Hobbs.

I moved to my house 8 years go, a 4 hour trip, with my 5 cats singing. Or rather I sang along with their meowing and it seemed to calm them down. And I’ve had to evacuate twice due to forest fires, with my 5 cats. I had to go the long way around, so it was a 3 hour trip to a friend who offered to give us shelter for the next 3 weeks. But we love our babies, don’t we.

Aww. I took my 18 year old cat to my daughter’s at Christmas, as I thought he was too old to leave in my unheated mountain home. He was very good on the 7 hour trip, and had the best Christmas ever with all the love from my grandsons. He passed away a few months later, but happy memories of my loving Mickey.

Had one in my car this morning, and I’m allergic. I love most kinds of animals, but not these.

New Zealand is the only other country allowed to advertise meds, but they have universal health care. One reason our meds cost so much, it’s disgraceful.
