   Wow. He just got here merely few weeks ago and already he got the permanent status. That seems to support my belief that he’ll be Luann’s better half. I suspect they’ll follow the relationship characteristics of the cartoonist and his daughter. Luann’s dad wears eyeglasses so Phil wears one too. Phil might be the younger version of Frank. Frank is the calm force of the house so Phil is also – so far as to what’ve seen, Phil has a calm personality and is certainly calm with Luann.

   It’s NOT about St Patrick. Did you miss that today is Luann’s comic strip 40th anniversary? THAT is the anniversary I am talking about.

   I wonder if they chose their anniversary date for Luann to kiss Phil to signify that Phil is/will be Luann’s permanent other half. Maybe they figured it is time.

   It is no unusual that children who were bff as children drift apart when they reach middle or high school…peer pressure, meeting new friends, hormones, etc. a lot of times bffs as children grow up to become strangers to each other.

   She was merely following directives on a list on paper. She is a follower. Tiff is more a leader than she is but she tends to lean on doing outrageous things. Luann doesn’t know how to lead without instructions or directions. That is likely why Phil is there – be on the ready if she needs help. Her list says to optimize the environment for relax and calm…she follows it and tries to get others to follow suit. We know Tiff wouldn’t…I am surprised Nancy did not either but she is thinking as a business owner – to make money for her business means drawing new customers to become her regulars at The Fuse. She wants them to notice The Fuse and come in and the way to do it is decorating to catch their eye and ears with music that is not soft and relaxing as directed on Luann’s list. Betcha Luann and her mother will argue about that.

   Nancy is doing it from the owner standpoint…to draw the attention of diners to her place to buy food and drinks. She is hoping the blood drive will draw people and decorating the place would draw them from donors to the guest of The Fuse. She is afraid they will just leave after donating blood – she needs this opportunity to make extra money from people who aren’t patrons of The Fuse – recruit new patrons/regulars, if you will.

   Luann, let them decorate and feel useful. Just focus on Bloodmobile and the bloodmobile donors.

    That just might be when she found out she didn’t look good in green….or some guy told her she looks as green as (blank) something insulting or insensitive.
