I beg to differ. I just don’t understand the urge to purge. I like the items that I inherited, some that were kept for multiple generations. Even a scrap of paper with my grandfather’s scribbling had value to me. I was surprised how often I could figure out what he was contemplating. I remember seeing the cancelled check he wrote – in pencil – buying a car in the 1920’s. I’m sitting here now listening to the tick-tock of the grandfather clock my father built from an Emperor Clock company kit.
And if there was someone removed who should not have been (recall that only a relative few were removed) then VA also allows election day registration and voting (conditional on the registration being validated).
