Thank you all for the kind words! As the saying goes: there’s a lid for every pot. Even Nate can find true love. Happy holidays, everyone!
Great question! The short answer is that the colorist usually makes the uniforms white with blue trim, but in this case he made them blue with white trim. It will make things a little harder for the referee, that’s all!
Well, I drew this back in July. So if I ruin it, it’s because I already ruined it three weeks ago.
Thanks for all the kind words, everybody. I’ll answer a couple of the questions I saw yesterday: Yes, this is really Lincoln, and yes, I plan to keep doing the strip for a while longer. Right now I’m working the Sunday page for December 10th. And yes, I do like the Big Nate TV show, even though it’s very different from the strip. I think the animation looks amazing!
Thank you for the feedback, everyone. I can’t claim to read the comments every day, but I appreciate all of you taking the time to write them, whether they’re complimentary or critical. After over 32 years of doing this strip, I’m grateful that folks are still interested in what happens to Nate and the other characters. Enjoy the Wordle strips this week!
I’ve more or less stopped commenting over the past couple of years. But I always appreciate people reading the strip and taking the time to comment, even if they feel compelled to criticize. It’s better to be criticized than ignored completely! Thanks, everyone.
If I was bothered by criticism, I would have stopped doing the strip long ago. I do think that calling it “trash” is a little rude, but that’s just me. Everyone’s entitled to an opinion.
It says “Protect Ghost.” It’s a reference to a phrase frequently used in “Game Of Thrones” podcast I’ve listened to.
I appreciate that! Many thanks, and good luck in high school!
But unlike Charlie Brown, Nate does experience success on occasion.
