Well, he was later diagnosed with Parkinsonism. Maybe what you saw were early symptoms that only showed up when he was mentally tired (as opposed to physically fatigued, as after a fight).
It turns out that the Armenian alphabet has a letter “ս” that looks almost exactly like the Latin “u”. So you can write tսrd and only the very observant will notice that the “ս” is a little shorter than the “r”.
Hmmmm…. A moment ago I saw a comment on another strip (Big Nate) with a highly banned word. Maybe he tricked the comment nanny (for example using a Cyrillic letter), but I suspect they turned the nanny off.
But interestingly the comment nanny allowed him to post it. Of course it could be that he tricked her by using a letter from a non-latin alphabet, but it could mean they turned the nanny off.
