I was listening to my Walkman one day at the fitness club. I had been listening to disco hits. My headphones were cheapies and I know others could hear what I was listening to. Just as I strolled into the men’s locker room Grace Jones was belting out her song “I Need a Man”. I thought to myself nobody better get any funny ideas! lol :-)
I was on the phone with a friend who talks a blue streak. One time I was tired and zoned out as he prattled on. At one point he said, “Are you listening to me? What have I been saying?” I thought, BUSTED!
In 1973 I was in Paris and visited the Louvre . However I did not view the Mona Lisa—only saw a copy of the painting. I cannot recall the reason for that—it was on tour? Also when in London the Queen was not at Buckingham Palace so tea with her was out. lol :-) 50 of us from my high school had gone to Paris and London on the March school break—3 1/2 days in each city. My, how the years have flown by!
