NONE of this story arc makes any sense. Why was he boycotting the holiday in the first place? What kid doesn’t like a Thanksgiving feast? His reasons (never articulated) don’t seem to be political (or vegetarian…still plenty good eatin’ for veg folk like myself)…And then he changes his mind at the last minute…?

SPAY AND NEUTER!! And don’t tell me things were different “way back” in 1992 or whenever this originally ran. Responsible pet owners have know about that for the past 50 years or so.
OK, so proudly ignorant is his “thing.”Not that there’s anything WRONG with it, but that’s usually the defining characteristic of 2nd tier characters (“Fitch” from Dustin, Kramer, Joey, etc), not the “star” of the series.
