Jonah reminds me of a Lamprey Eel. Once they latch on to their prey, they suck the life out of them. Unfortunately for Toni her brother is a mid talent wannabe who is off chasing rainbows and shirking his responsibilities to his child. This will continue until Toni puts her foot down and gives him a firm NO the next time he asks them to tend Shannon. Unfortunately, Shannon would suffer the consequences of doing so.
Brad and Toni need to tell Shannon’s father to grow a pair and take responsibility for his actions and stop taking advantage of them. If they decide to take Shannon in, then Jonah has to pay for her expenses. Jonah is a good name for Toni’s brother, in the navy, a Jonah is something that doesn’t work.
