One way to keep Chez quiet for the day. Heading to Reno with my friend’s husband today – he has an MRI scheduled, she likes a day to herself, I’m just going along for my favorite drive and hoping we can get in to a very busy excellent family run Italian restaurant. Weather forecast is all over the place, we may or may not get rain, snow, wind or sun.
All considered, it was a good day. Knees aren’t hurting from the falls even tho they took the brunt of it. Joey and Sammy, who I sometimes call Sassy, are doing great altho they are very picky about food. Sammy just started purring this week, and now comes for lots of loving.
It’s quite a marvel that Chez can read and write. Wait, I forgot little Ollie has the same skills. Yesterday’s hike was interesting -I fell hard twice, lost the trail under the snow for awhile, but made it to the lake which is partially frozen and has these big circles of open water. I could sometimes hear kind of a whooshing sound. It was 15 degrees but sunny and no wind when I started and the parking lot, which fills by 7 in the summer, was empty.
